Corn on the Cob
Corn on the Cob Recipe. This is a quick and easy side dish. If fresh corn is not available feel free to substitute with frozen corn on the cob.
|corn||8||shucked and silk removed - cut into 4 inch pieces|
|water||16 cups||enough water to cover the corn|
|sugar||1 1/3 Tbsps|
|salt||1 Tbsp||to taste|
- In a large pot boil the water and add the sugar.
- Place the corn in the boiling water and cook for 10 minutes
- Remove the corn from the water. Salt and butter each piece of corn.
You can add a little spice to the corn by dusting it with seasoned salt or chili powder and lemon.
