Corn on the Cob

Change to:
Corn on the Cob Recipe. This is a quick and easy side dish. If fresh corn is not available feel free to substitute with frozen corn on the cob.

Ingredients


corn 8 shucked and silk removed - cut into 4 inch pieces
water 16 cups enough water to cover the corn
sugar 1 1/3 Tbsps
butter 1/4 cup
salt 1 Tbsp to taste


Directions

  1. In a large pot boil the water and add the sugar.
  2. Place the corn in the boiling water and cook for 10 minutes
  3. Remove the corn from the water. Salt and butter each piece of corn.


Notes

You can add a little spice to the corn by dusting it with seasoned salt or chili powder and lemon.
