Spinach Salad with Mushrooms and Bacon
Spinach Salad with Mushrooms and Bacon Recipe. A great lunch salad that is a meal in itself.
|red onion||1 1/2 Tbsps||minced|
|Dijon mustard||3 Tbsps|
|white distilled vinegar||2/3 cup|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 tsp|
|Tabasco Sauce||1 drop||to taste|
|vegetable oil||1 cup|
|spinach||1||bunch - washed well, ends trimmed|
|button mushroom||1/2 lb||sliced thin|
|bacon||1/2 lb||cooked and crumbled|
|egg||2||hard boiled and chopped|
- In a bowl combine the minced red onion, Dijon mustard, salt, vinegar, water, Worcestershire sauce, and Tabasco sauce.
- Whisk in the vegetable oil and set aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
- In a salad bowl combine the spinach, mushrooms, bacon, chopped eggs, and croutons.
- Drizzle the dressing over to taste. Toss and serve.
