If you really want to get into the European holiday spirit then make some Mulled Wine. The aroma of the Mulling Spices will fill your home and give you that cozy feeling.
|mulling spices||2 Tbsps|
|Burgundy wine||4 cups|
- In a stockpot combine the mulling spices, Burgundy wine, and sugar.
- Over low heat bring to a simmer.
- Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Serve with a cinnamon stick in each cup.
To make things easier wrap the mulling spices in cheesecloth and submerge in the wine. When the Mulled Wine is ready remove the cheesecloth containing the mulling spices. This can also be served cold over ice.
