Marinated Mozzarella Recipe
|mozzarella cheese||3/4 lb||3/4 inch thick and cut into bite size cubes|
|olive oil||1/2 cup|
|basil (fresh)||1 Tbsp|
|red pepper flakes||1/4 tsp|
- In a bowl combine the olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, basil, and red pepper flakes.
- Add the mozzarella cubes and toss.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let it stand for 2 hours at room temperature before serving.
When you go to your deli counter tell them to cut the mozzarella 3/4 inch thick.
