Horchata Recipe. The classic Mexican drink that goes well with all Mexican street dishes. I'd like two carne asada tacos and an Horchata please.
|rice, long white grain||2 cups|
|sugar||1/2 cup||to taste|
- In a large container soak the rice with enough water to cover for 2 hours.
- Crumble and toast the cinnamon sticks in a skillet.
- Drain the rice and blend with the cinnamon and milk in a blender.
- Strain the mixture and add the remaining water.
- Add sugar to taste.
