The classic Coleslaw recipe that has a place at every backyard party.
|red cabbage||1/2||core removed and sliced thin|
|cabbage||1/2||core removed and sliced thin|
|carrot||4||peeled and grated|
|sour cream||1/4 cup|
|cider vinegar||2 Tbsps|
|salt||1/2 tsp||to taste|
|black pepper||1/2 tsp||to taste|
- In a large salad bowl combine the red cabbage, cabbage, and carrots.
- In a seperate bowl whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Add the dressing to the cabbage mixture and toss well.
- Cover with plastic and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to overnight.
If you like a sweeter tasting coleslaw add more sugar to taste.
