Change to:
Chicken Taco Recipe. For a lighter taco try these chicken tacos. Fresh warmed tortillas with shreds of chicken topped with fresh salsa.

Ingredients


Chicken
chicken breast 2
onion 1 chopped
garlic clove 2 crushed
cilantro 1/2 cup
salt 1 Tbsp
black peppercorn 4
water 4 cups to cover
Tacos
tortilla 20
onion 1 diced
cilantro 1 cup chopped
salsa 1 cup
lemon 6 each cut into 4 wedges


Directions

  1. In a stockpot combine the chicken breast, onion, garlic cloves, cilantro, salt, black peppercorns, and enough water to cover.
  2. Bring to a boil then lower the heat to a simmer.
  3. Cook the chicken for about 30 minutes.
  4. Remove the chicken and shred with your hands.
  5. Warm up the tortillas.
  6. To make the tacos layer the ingredients as follows on the tortilla: chicken, onion, cilantro, and salsa.
  7. Squeeze a lemon wedge over each taco.
