Mulled Cider Recipe. If you really want to get into the holiday spirit then make some Mulled Cider. The aroma of the Mulling Spices will fill your home and give you that cozy feeling.
|mulling spices||2 Tbsps|
|brandy||1 cup||optional - to taste|
- In a stockpot combine the cider and mulling spices.
- Heat over low heat to simmer.
- Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and add the brandy.
- Serve with a cinnamon stick in each cup.
To make things easier wrap the mulling spices in cheesecloth and submerge in the cider. When the Mulled Cider is ready remove the cheesecloth containing the mulling spices. This can also be served cold over ice.
