Japanese Rice Recipe. A delicious light and fluffy rice that is a must for any Japanese meal.

Ingredients


calrose rice 1 cup
water 2 cups hot
rice vinegar 1 Tbsp


Directions

  1. Thoroughly rinse the calrose rice.
  2. Place in a saucepan and cover with the hot water for 1 hour.
  3. Add the rice vinegar and place over high heat.
  4. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer.
  5. Do not stir.
  6. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
  7. Do not remove the lid while cooking.
