Endive with Herb Cheese Recipe. This appetizer is a nice easy way to start off a meal. The slight bitterness of the endive and the creaminess of the cheese prepares the palate for extraordinary dishes.

Ingredients


endive 1 lb
Boursin cheese 1/3 lb
alfalfa sprouts 1/4 lb


Directions

  1. Separate the leaves of the endives and slice the ends.
  2. Wash thoroughly and pat dry.
  3. Place the Boursin cheese into a piping bag and spread onto each endive leaf.
  4. Top with alfalfa sprouts and serve.


Notes

If you do not have a piping bag then you can use a small spoon or knife to spread the Boursin cheese onto each endive leaf.
